INKTOBER 52 2023 Day #8: PUP.

A baby Wookie is a pup, right? That’s what I’m going with.
Oh hey, look, another Star Wars reference. I’m not the first or the best to have ever drawn a baby Chewbacca, but I’m certainly A person to have drawn a baby Chewbacca. I found coming up with an idea for this prompt difficult. I ran through a few options in my head, but somehow landed on a baby Wookie. I mean, he was inspired by George Lucas’ dog I think.
I originally drew PMD squatting down, staring at baby Chewy, but it didn’t feel right. I switched to him looking perplexed at baby Chewy chewing on a plunger instead, and I’m pretty happy with the result. For the record, despite this being a simple image, the fur took forever, and I probably could have spent even longer on it to create some more depth and separation. And to think I almost went with a baby squid. Baby squids are also called pups, right? Right. At least as far as Plunger Monkey is concerned.
