Project Description

After finishing the four covers of the original series for author L.S. Gagnon, she asked me to redo the two covers for her kids book series, which originally featured photo covers. I heavily referenced the photo for this cover, at least for the front as there was no back cover, as the composition and overall look was good, it just needed something a little more. The brooms were originally strung up on a line, but I thought it would be cool if they were magically floating before Thea. I tried to punch up the colors and contrast to draw more focus on Thea and the brooms, as well as expand the background to wrap around to the back cover.
