My Brain is always trying to tell me something. It doesn’t always make sense – in fact, it usually doesn’t – but it repeats whatever it is over and over until I pay attention. It’s somewhat like getting a line or two of a catchy song stuck in your head, but absurd words, word combinations, made up words, or short, preposterous phrases instead. I’ve come to believe these messages come from Plunger Monkey, and decided I was going to share his “musings” with all of you.

PMD has evolved in appearance quite a bit since I first drew him back in 1999, and he has noticeably changed since I launched this website in 2015, too. Here’s a look at the earlier versions of him over the years since I first began posting his “Brainisms”.
