Project Description

Playing around with my new warm greyscale Copic markers and some Micron pens, actually getting outside to do some observational drawing. This is the corner of our carriage house, it is very weathered (and in need of repair) with lots of nice textures going on. I’m still getting the feel for the markers (and the fact that they dry much lighter), but they are fun. I recently got some Copic Multiliners for my birthday (courtesy of my amazingly thoughtful and insightful wife), which I wish I had had in time to use on this. I’m not thrilled with my linework on this one, but it is after all, just a sketch.
