INKTOBER 52 2023 Day #41: SPICEY.

“The Plunger Monkey merchandising ideas just keep coming. If you know me, it’s no secret I can’t handle spicey anything. Even hot temperature foods cause my nose to run like a faucet and my face to sweat. I’m sure I’m missing out on some lovely flavors from different cultures, but if it’s spicey, I’m going to pass (because spicey is, indeed, dumb). I’m not even sure what other people enjoy about spiciness. Do they not experience the burning? Do their faces and their full complement of mucous-producing anatomical infrastructure not rebel? Does whatever spicey thingy they are eating just taste so good that it’s worth the pain? When you’ve got a perfectly delicious food in front of you, why add hot sauce at all? Are those people masochists or something? Now, if there were a COLD sauce, count me in, especially chocolate bacon banana flavor. I’d put that on eggs.”
