Mother’s Day 2006

Project Description

The third Mother’s Day card for my wife, this time there’s a new addition! By 2006 we added another son to the mix. The older dragon boy has aged a little more. This was the last color card I made, I’m not really sure why I switched to the black and white cards afterwards. I keep thinking about going back to color, but haven’t yet. This, just like the previous two, were done in pencil, ink, water color, and colored pencil on water color paper.

The inside of the card. This is also the last time I did a separate drawing on the inside and switched to writing something mushy and pointing out how great my wife is for putting up with me and my failings as a parent and husband.
