Project Description

This is the second page of my graphic novel Revery. This page, along with the entire graphic novel, remains unfinished until I get through a few other projects, but I’m excited to get back to it. The opening pages of the story revolve around some dreams I had many years ago, this page in particular is supposed to show the transition from all the stuff going on in my brain into the more concrete dream by the bottom right hand corner, it’s sort of a montage of dream elements and ideas. Missing from the page, aside from colors, is sort of cloudy, misty element to help tie everything together and seem more dream like and disjointed before clearing up for the actual dream. The first dozen or so pages were drawn entirely in GIMP, but I’ve now cut over to Photoshop Creative Cloud.
